This is the first volume of a history of Indian philosophy since ancient times till the beginning of the twentieth century. Surendranath Dasgupta does great job in describing each period of the development of Indian philosophy and in paying great attention to each separate thinker. The book is wonderfully organized and well structures so it does not make its readers bored. A History of Indian Philosophy is recommended to all readers who are interested in the subject and want to discover a number of mysteries connected with Indian philosophy.
