Got this book a year after I graduated from college and realized that all of my friends were married/engaged, and had stable jobs. This book helped me realize that I didn't need to go out and buy a new car, or get an expensive apartment just because everyone else had one. Now that I am getting a lot of invites to dinner parties I'm still looking back at the highlighted sections just to make sure I don't muck up!

Read this book for what it is: a humorous-but-worthy list of steps one can take to get one's shit a bit more together. Some of the tips were obvious but some were not (complainers: I think we can all agree that if every tip was brand new info, we'd have bigger problems). I liked this especially as a more helpful, less upsetting companion to The Defining Decade. The diagrams in here were cute/funny and not once did I want to crawl in a hole and mourn my wasted potential. Two thumbs up!

What a great book! So helpful! And I like Kelly Williams Brown's writing style. She is very clear and concise in the way she explains everything. Go Kelly! Great book!
