Audrey Niffenegger, a famous author of the extremely successful of The Time Traveler's Wife, publishes his second novel devoted to the life in and around Highgate Cemetery in London. After Elspeth Noblin passes away because of cancer, she passes her apartment in London to her twin nieces, Julia and Valentina who live in America and with who she never met. Julia and Valentina only know that their mother had a twin sister. The girls live in the suburbs of Chicago and are almost like all American teenagers having little interest in college, job or anything else. The abnormal thing about them is that they are oddly attached to one other. Julia and Valentina move to their apartment and find out that now they are neighboring Highgate Cemetery.
