Very impressive and well researched. The information jumped around a lot, muddling the continuity, but kept the characters life and reason for their efforts clear. A very inspirational story focused on 4 highly educated women, who were talented in mathematics, yet held back from the title & pay of Engineers. Being a female was difficult, but being Black made it harder. It was an unjust climate of segregation and demands for Equality, forcing these determined women to work even harder. The outcome of quietly receiving accolades from their fellow Langley constituents, for their work in the Space program, was disgraceful. Because their neighbors had no clue as to their position within the company and their contribution to The Space Race. These women need the recognition they deserve. This book is a start.

I think like everyone else this was a very amazing book. It lets everyone else and not only girls but boys not only blacks but whites know that we can all come together and be one. This was a very good book and i don't care what everyone else thinks about it.

The book was so amazing! Something I have read before is how this girl gets taken out of a school because so many people didn't want their children near black kids.:(
