We have claimed that God is all power, but that every one must succumb to evil; that it belongs to humanity, and no one can escape. We have been educated to believe that every one must know more or less of sin, sickness and sorrow in life, and that all must end in death. the Good to be the only Power and the only Presence. Let us reason from the axiom, God is real. If God is real, and the Good, all Power, and everywhere present, then all that stands opposed tothe Good must be unreal. Evil, therefore, is an unreality : it has no real entity. We must either conclude that evil is not a real power and a real presence, or that our Deity is limited, capable of being overborne by evil: that God is not omnipotent and omnipresent. From the moment we take our stand to live the Omnipotence and Omnipresence of the Good, our emancipation from the dominion of evil begins. Presenting the unreality of evil is but another way of putting our basic principle, the Omniscience, Omnipotence and Omnipresence of the Good. As in our second lesson we delineated the two selves, the real and the unreal, the true and the false, let us keep clearly before us the two realms of being, the realm of the Good, the real, the realm of evil, the unreal.
