Beautiful book, well written, Lowry is an absolute wordsmith. Thank you!
If you haven't done so, I suggest reading The Giver, Gathering Blue, then this one and after this read Son. I personally loved the story of Kira in Gathering Blue, though this book will always be my favourite of the quartet.

This book leaves so much question, but good ones. Just like the giver, Luis Lowry puts meaning full symbols in this book. For example, the forest. I really enjoyed this book and the series. Respect Luis Lowry, This the first series i read that made me remember the author. You are a great author.

The book was too quick, and ended with too many questions, like the Giver. Yes, it is sometimes good to leave questions, but this book left one too many. An example: what happened to the trader? Also, I believe that Matty/Healer was very Gary-Stu-ish. Noble-death-to-save-everyone Gary-Stu. I would rate this about a three. The book was less than okay, but I guess it was at least entertaining.

I don't know what questions you are talking about. Unless you are retarded it is very clear what happens. If you can't see that you shouldn't shit talk the book.
