Observations upon the Prophecies of Daniel and the Apocalypse of St. John deserves attention even due to the fact that it was written by famous Sir Isaac Newton who made a great contribution to physics, mathematics, astronomy and philosophy. And moreover possessing a profound religious content, the book is a real treasure. It was published for the first time in 1733 and since then it has been re-published many times and translated into a number of languages. In this essay Newton presents his interpretation of the Bible on the basis of his observations, experience and knowledge in sciences. This book which is one of the two essays devoted to religion among other works of Isaac Newton is a wonderful chance for readers to discover the other side of such many-sided and extremely talented personality as Sir Isaac Newton.
