I liked it. It was well written and very realistic in how things would have gone in that situation (characters die and things don't go the way they were supposed to) but I didn't like the love triangle. I preferred Julian and I didn't like how she was "with" him because she felt she needed to and because Alex didn't want her. The "I don't love you I never did but I clearly still do" story line is so overdone so it was frustrating because I didn't believe it for a minute but I guess they needed drama somehow. I hated how it ended because I felt like it left too much open but I liked the message it had behind it and that none of the characters were black and white. I dropped it in some water so I had to pay for the copy which took some of the enjoyment out of it but that's not the books fault. Overall I'd read the series again because I now own the last book.

Could have been SO much better. Should have been SO much better. I really liked the series, but this last b
...ook was really bad. 1. Ending, anticlimactic, open ended and just thrown together, silly. 2. if there is a love triangle, you need to make the readers care about the three involved and this book made me dislike all three because their characters didn't develop- Lana was whiny, annoying, weak. Julian turned into a sad puppy dog of boredom, Alex was pretty damn dreadful and completely different than his original character. 3. Don't have a bunch of build up, then just fizzle out and not really end anything. I liked Hannah's POV and its the only thing that kept me half interested but again no ending, very little character development and all I did was feel sorry for her and get annoyed that she was soooo spineless. I kindly request a total rewrite of this book! :(MoreLess
