This is an autobiography of one of the most brilliant philosopher of the eighteenth century Solomon Maimon. His life and views are definitely worth attention. As known, Solomon was born in a family of a merchant in Polish Lithuania and was Jewish by origin. Since his early ages he was interested in such serious titanic thinkers as Spinoza, Hume, Leibnitz, and Kant. Although being brought up in traditional Jewish views and despited his Jewish education, Maimon's thoughts never expressed antagonistic views. Among his interests there was the concept of time and its existence in out life. This book is a wonderful combination of the philosophical views of Salomon Maimon and the course of his life which deserves reading and being recognized and remembered.
