The Adventures of Hajji Baba of Ispahan in England

Cover The Adventures of Hajji Baba of Ispahan in England
Genres: Nonfiction
The Adventures of Hajji Baba of Ispahan in England is the second book in the series devoted to the amazing adventures of a Persian man. The author James J. Morier does a wonderful job in describing the Persian culture as opposed to the English culture. Readers realize that in England the relationship to women and the treatment of the freedom are better while everybody there hates crowds and traffic jams, dusty air, a strong desire to earn more and more money and find influential friends. Of course, in Persia everything was quite different but at the same time when we compare different cultures, we have to decide what is better for us: to wash rarely but put on clean clothes as the English did or to wash every day and put on dusty clothes?
