The Aztec Treasure-House
The Aztec Treasure-House is one of the brightest representatives of the adventure genre. Although it was originally published in 1890, it has not lost its charm and the spirit of adventures which attract adults and of course, children of about 10-13 years old. The plot of the novel is focused on the group of travelers who are looking for ancient treasures in the mountains in Mexico. But it is not that easy to find the gold and other valuable. The searchers will encounter terrific difficulties, fantastic rescues, deathly threats and nobody knows what will happen next. The book is very memorable and exciting. It is a very good reading for someone who wants to dive into the world of wonderful adventures.
