This is the greatly written and well researched book from the time of the centennial of what was the largest, though often overlooked, battle of the American Revolution: The Battle of Brooklyn or The Battle of Long Island. From lead-up, the relating of the battle and the aftermath it is probably the best. The book includes the original large maps as a resource for studies and trips you will make during reading.
