The Cliff Dwellers a Novel
In the last decade of the nineteenth century talent of an interesting realistic writer stand out to the readers. The creative work of Henry Blake Fuller, an American novelist and short story writer, was underestimated by bourgeois critics. Fuller was one of the first representatives of so-called Chicago School writers, who depicted life of Chicago people and the striking social contrasts of the city – a growing in leaps and bounds giant. In his suspense novel “The Cliff Dwellers”, which saw the light of the day in 1983, the author proposes a critical account of the world of capitalistic plunderers, possessed by cupidity and vainglory.
