This story is centered around the life of Tom Swift who possesses an airship and can travel at any distances very fast. Moreover, in this book we see the telephone being invented that can create an image of the speaker and send it to the other end of the wire. Tom´s best friend Mr. Damon gets involved with an evil gang and Tom has to help him or otherwise, he will lose all of his money. Later he is kidnapped and Mrs. Damon is very concerned about it. Fortunately, Tom is going to release his friend in any way. So be prepared for a lot of other adventures.
