Oh man, what do I say?! I've finished the series. The difference from the first book to this final book is quite astounding. The main character is a completely changed person. The first one was good, but is better as its own book, not in the series. The second one is my favourite of them all. It was when Zach was introduced, and he was mysterious and f...un, where in the next few he kind of looses that fun side. I liked being oblivious and innocent to all the real threats in the world (in the book) as the most important thing in was getting a good grade, with a only small taste of a real threat and the real world. The third was good, although the threats became larger and part of Zach was lost. It was almost still fun and games at this point. The forth was when it got scary. And i was like I didn't see any of it coming, it was sprang onto me. And I almost had a panic attack because of it. The fifth, now this one was amazing...and terrible. Ally Carter scared me. I don't know whether to give it five stars because it was so well done and scared me so much, or one star because I kind of hated it. This last one was good, but I wasn't as scared or stressed about it all. Maybe I knew it would all work out well. Maybe I was numb from all the pain from the fifth book. I don't know if I should be relieved or slightly disappointed that this book wasn't as suspenseful or scary. No, I'm definitely relieved! Wow such a journey and such a great series. And it was fabulous.MoreLess
