This was written within fifty years of the ministry of Jesus, and is conclusive testimony to his existence and earthly character,) As a matter of course, such a record could not pass unmarked by the poisoned shaft of skeptical doubt and insinuation. This school hag assumed and declared it to be a forgery. Inserting a forged interpolation like this in a prominent work like that of Josephus, is easily, but stupidly charged, for it is an impossible feat.
